Holding On!

“When we get in a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.”

Life is an adventure. You don’t know what is in store for today. But knowing our Almighty God is on the throne, we are safe and secure. Just hold on.

1. Rest in the Lord. Only God knows how long the current turmoil of your life will last. Let God do the leading in your life. Be totally dependent in all things.
2. Endure. Go on, never give up, God is there to lead, help and guide. He will bring it to pass and will keep you away from wrong.
3. Supplication. Be quite and be confident in God. Devout yourself to prayer.
4. Thank God for the sure victory that makes life so worthwhile.

The Lord is with you. He is on the lead. Just hold on. (k.ricafort)

Simplify

"Our life is frittered away by detail... I say, let your affairs be as two or three, and not a hundred or a thousands; instead of a million count half a dozen, and keep your accounts on your thumbnail... Simplify, simplify instead of a hundred dishes, five; and reduce other things in proportion." Henry David Thoreau

Simplicity is elegant rather than complex design. Same with our lives, the simpler life is, the happier it is. Then why make it complicated?

A life in all it’s fullness:

Live with what you have. It is living with contentment, which is learning to accept the things you don’t have and the things you can’t do, learning to accept things as they are and learning to be totally dependent on God’s ever sufficient grace. Let His grace abound in you.

Cheerfully give. Learn to give generously, with willingness of heart even if you are in want. It is always much blessed to give than to received. Learn from the Macedonian Church, they were able to give despite of scarcity.

Know what really matters. Learning and knowing what is the most important thing in you. For me, what matters a lot is my relationship to God, family and friends; then my carrier and my service.

Take things one day at a time. Learn to enjoy the process of life. There is no such thing as short cut. We are like tapestry, God is weaving us to be like Him in due time.

Be grateful. “In everything, give thanks.” In all circumstances, in all situations, learn to be grateful for.

Rejoice. Learn to be happy in all season. In abundance or in poverty, in sickness or in health, in sorrow or in happiness, heart broken or in love… learn to rejoice in all things. (k.ricafort)
