Holding On!



“When we get in a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.”

Life is an adventure. You don’t know what is in store for today. But knowing our Almighty God is on the throne, we are safe and secure. Just hold on.

1. Rest in the Lord. Only God knows how long the current turmoil of your life will last. Let God do the leading in your life. Be totally dependent in all things.
2. Endure. Go on, never give up, God is there to lead, help and guide. He will bring it to pass and will keep you away from wrong.
3. Supplication. Be quite and be confident in God. Devout yourself to prayer.
4. Thank God for the sure victory that makes life so worthwhile.

Simplify



"Our life is frittered away by detail... I say, let your affairs be as two or three, and not a hundred or a thousands; instead of a million count half a dozen, and keep your accounts on your thumbnail... Simplicity is elegant rather than complex design. Same with our lives, the simpler life is, the happier it is. Then why make it complicated?

A life in all it’s fullness:  

Live with what you have. It is living with contentment, which is learning to accept the things you don’t have and the things you can’t do, learning to accept things as they are and learning to be totally dependent on God’s ever sufficient grace. Let His grace abound in you.

Cheerfully give. Learn to give generously, with willingness of heart even if you are in want. It is always much blessed to give than to received. Learn from the Macedonian Church, they were able to give despite of scarcity.

Know what really matters. Learning and knowing what is the most important thing in you. For me, what matters a lot is my relationship to God, family and friends; then my carrier and my service.

Take things one day at a time. Learn to enjoy the process of life. There is no such thing as short cut. We are like tapestry, God is weaving us to be like Him in due time.   

Be grateful. “In everything, give thanks.” In all circumstances, in all situations, learn to be grateful for.  

Rejoice. Learn to be happy in all season. In abundance or in poverty, in sickness or in health, in sorrow or in happiness, heart broken or in love… learn to rejoice in all things. (k.ricafort)

Take Time

Hope, take time to dream
“The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives and the dreams shall never die.” All things are possible to them that believe in God. Take time to make your dreams in reality. Success makes our spirit cheerful.  

Trust, take time to believe
“Believe in yourself, in all you can do. And for you, the deals will start to work in your favor. You need to be open to such deals, and they will come, I assure you.” You’ve only got to believe in you. Develop self-confidence; it triumphs over life’s challenges. It leads you to security and contentment.   

Love, take time to be in love with
"Love is like a flower, give it some time, patience and lots of tender loving care; and watch it bloom into something wonderful before your eyes." Take time to love and be loved. There is no greater joy than this, than to feel the magic touch of love.     

Explore, take time to discover
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the one's you did. Explore, dream, discover." Feel the heart and know the mind, it’s takes a life time understanding and discovering oneself.

Sweet Fragrance

Her lingering fragrance holds the perfect potential of bringing a tender smile on anybody's lips. She holds the secret of happiness and cheerfulness. She possesses the clarity of heart as well as the mind, strength, honor and respect. Have undergone through hardship but have arrived in a better place. From pond bottom to surface, her blooming beauty is meant to instruct and inspire.

I was just thinking Lotus flowers are beautiful, fragrant, and edible. Lotus flowers grow in shallow water. The most precious characteristic of Lotus flowers is that they grow out of the mud yet remain pure and unpolluted by it. Lotuses blossom in white, pink, red and sometimes yellow, lotus flowers whose majestic beauty cannot be described in words. And that Lotus flower is you.(k.ricafort)

Get fit & Stay fit

1. Eat right (“you are what you eat”) - to be fit and healthy you need to eat good food.

2. Think right – keep your thoughts pure, “… whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.”

3. Speak right – know what word to say in all season. Also learn when to talk and when to listen.

4. Live right – vices ruins man’s health. Smoking, drunkenness, drugs, womanizing, sexual lust, gambling and all forms of illegal activities are some forms of vices. It corrupts our conscience and destroys our beings.

5. Work right – you should know how to balance rest and recreation. 

So learn to eat, think, speak, live and work right.  Get fit and stay fit!(k.ricafort)
